Without any warning, a flash of bright light sweeps through the entire island, centered on the lake. It expands outwards in a ring, passing through anything and everything in its path. It's not until the ring reaches past the edges of the island that it fades away into nothing.

The trees here start to get bigger the further to the west you go, their trunks growing so big that they dwarf the other trees in comparison. But they're also not nearly as crowded together as in other parts of the jungle, and after some walking it soon becomes apparent why ( Read more... )

The jungle is a little less dense here, a relief to those that have come from the highly dense wood to the east. Here, the jungle has grown thicker, hanging leaves and vines wherever you look. There's quite a few large ferns in this area as well, turning the underbrush into a riot of greens and browns, interrupted by the occasional bloom of flowers. This section of the island is wholly unremarkable in concerns to geography. It is a small stretch of beach, and nothing else. To the south there is more jungle and to the east and west is more beach. There are some flocks of multicolored-seagulls on this beach that chase after crabs and other small animals, but that's about it for the wildlife in ( Read more... )

The jungle remains sweltering and overgrown, as before. There seems to be nothing but trees in this section, and they have larger trunks than in other parts of the jungle. Their leaves blot out the sun, rendering the jungle below quite dark apart from the occasional small sliver of light that filters through the thick canopy. The dark atmosphere ( Read more... )

At first glance this square appears to be the same as all the rest. The dense jungles continues in the squarem making it nearly impossible to travel without forcing your way through the thick and heavy branches that hang from above. but it is not an impossible task ( Read more... )

The curve of beach that starts at the north of this area continues westward, making half the land in this square nothing but beach - that is, except for the interruption of the wall of coral, which travels in a more jagged line here ( Read more... )

This square covers the bottom left tip of the island. The large stretch of beach makes it a suitable landing site for a large sized craft, but other than that there is little of interest. The beach continues to stretch around the rest of the island, while to the North the jungle begins. The trees curve around the beach in a half circle formation. ( Read more... )
